Kelly, Oxford Dictionary of Popes, 165-66: Honorius, born Lamberto Scannabecchi at Fagnano near Imola, was archdeacon of Bologna for a time before becoming canon at the Lateran. He was cardinal-priest of Santa Prassede and, in 1117, was cardinal-bishop of Ostia and Velletri. He was legate to Henry V. Honorius was elected pope on 15 December 1124 and died at the monastery of S. Gregorio al Celia on the Caelian Hill, Rome on the night of 13/14 February 1130.
