Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 30: Richard occurs as official of Aberdeen 1239x40, 24 June 1240 and 26 April 1245. Watt, Graduates, 468: Richard was called Master by 1240 and appears as a canon of Aberdeen by August of that year. He is probably the Richard, clerk, who appears as procurator of the dean and chapter of Aberdeen concerning the election of Ralph Lamley as bishop in 1239. He witnesses various acts by this bishop and was still in office as official in 1245. he died after 26 April 1245.
