William, bishop of Argyll (d.1241)

Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 34, 294: William was chancellor of Moray, occurring on 4 September 1230, when he was elected bishop of Argyll, after May 1238 but before 16 February 1239. He was consecrated before 22 May 1240 and died in 1241, after 4 September. William drowned at sea. (Chron. Mel.)
