Watt, Graduates, 357: Simon took his name from the burgh of Linlithgow (WLO) and is found as Master in 1225. He may be the same as Simon of Lindsey, a canon of Dunkeld, or perhaps one of a group of St Andrews clergy in the time of Bishop Malveisin. Cf. Simon of St Andrews
