Description
David, king of Scots, has inspected and truly understood a charter of confirmation by Duncan, earl of Fife, finding it neither erased nor damaged, quoted in full. [Charter of Duncan (IV), earl of Fife, inspecting a charter of William Douglas, lord of Douglas, to James of Sandilands and lady Eleanor Bruce, the king's sister, of the barony of West Calder.] The king ratifies, approves, and confirms the aforesaid charter.
