Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and familiar clerk, John of Ancrum, all the lands that were the late Richard of Rutherford's, in the barony of Crawford Lindsay (LAN), which came to him due to the forfeiture of William of Rutherford, son and heir of the said Richard, being against the king's peace and faith; holding in feu and heritage of the chief lord of the said lands, making service owed and wont to the chief lord.
