Description
Alexander, king of Scots, for Malcolm, earl of Lennox; has given all lands within the stated bounds, namely, from Easter Douglas to Shian (STL), from Shian to 'Keryne', and as 'Keryne' descends to the plane, and thence to the water called 'Gall', and as the same 'Gall' descends to the loch, and from the 'Gall' to 'Fynnovhyne' as it descends to the Forth, and from the 'Fynnovhyne' to the east boundary of Cremannan, and from the same boundary to the stream called 'Melach', and from 'Melach' stream to 'Keryn', in free forest and in feu and heritage.
