Description
Prior John and convent of St Andrews make known that when Sir William, bishop of St Andrews, consented (consenserit) to donation made by Hugh Blund, lord of Arbuthnott, of one oxgang in tenement at Garvock with rights of patronage to church of Garvock (KCD), and he established this same donation by pontifical authority, he converted and granted garbal teinds of church for uses of monastery of Arbroath, saving perpetual collation to vicar of church with an oxgang of land assigned by Hugh Blund and all easements pertaining to same. The prior and convent, therefore wish this to be ratified, with common consent of chapter.
