- Henry of Horncaster, prior of Coldingham, records that since house of Coldingham [owed] to house of Durham £108 10d. on feast of Assumption of BVM, 1276, Richard, prior of Durham has graciously permitted delay of said debt, at instance of Coldingham, and has assigned that Coldingham shall pay annually to sacrist of prior of Durham £80.
