Description
Roger de Quincy has given, granted, and established by his present charter, to Dryburgh Abbey, his whole toft that he had in the villa of Haddington (ELO), namely, that one which Sir William, late king of Scotland, gave to Robert de Quincy, his grandfather, wholly, with its pertinents, in free and perpetual alms, for an annual render of one stone of wax or 40d. at the feast of St Michael, for all service and exaction.
