Description
R[alph] son of Dúngal has given the paupers of the Hospital of St Peter, York, a piece of land from his inheritance in Dumfries in perpetual alms, namely two oxgangs, free and quit from all custom and service. He also takes the inhabitants into his firm peace and protection.
