Description: Maldoven, earl of Lennox, has given, granted, and established by this his present charter, to Luke son of Master Michael of Fintry his clerk, for his homage and service, that half arachor of ‘Nentbolg’ which is nearest the land of Fintry (STL), which Master Michael held of the earl, by stated bounds, in feu and heritage, in perpetuity, for an annual render of two pounds of wax at Christmas, and doing the forinsec service of the lord king that pertains to a half arachor in Lennox. He has also granted and established by this charter to Luke his clerk that he may freely have pleas on the aforesaid land in perpetuity.
