- Pope Honorius III, following the example of Pope Innocent, his predecessor, takes the prior and monastery of Paisley, with its goods, into his protection and establishes especially the grant of the churches of Cathcart (LAN), Rutherglen (LAN), Carmunnock (LAN), Kilbarchan, Mearns (RNF), and Pollok (LAN), by Jocelin, bishop of Glasgow, with the chapter’s assent, and Florence, bishop-elect of Glasgow, when he presided over the court of Glasgow, towards the sustenance of their hospital and beggars, with pertinents and teinds in rents, lands and possessions.
