Description
Pope Gregory IX takes the abbot and convent of Lindores Abbey into his protection, together with their persons, monastery and possessions, and establishes especially the church of Dundee (ANG), which the bishop of Brechin donated to them with the consent of his chapter, also the liberties and immunities from secular exactions, granted by the kings, earls, barons of Scotland and others of Christ’s faithful, and the lands, possessions and other goods which they have justly and peaceably.
