Description
Pope Alexander IV writes to the bishop of St Andrews noting that he has received his petition concerning the right of patronage of churches within his diocese, which happen to be vacant. By the authority of this present [letter], he grants faculty that those churches within his diocese which are vacant for an interval of four months on account of disputes of the right of patronage, may be provided with suitable with personae. No one is permitted to infringe upon this grant.
