Description
John, called Purroc, son of William Scot of Coldingham, in the year of grace 1283, on the Sunday next after the feast of the apostles Peter and Paul, at Coldingham before trustworthy men, has given, granted, and quitclaimed to his lords, the prior and convent of Coldingham, the whole of his land that he had by hereditary right in the villa and territory of Upper Ayton, so that neither he nor his heirs can have any claim.
