Description
Agreement between (i) Walter, bishop of Glasgow, and (ii) the abbot and convent of Kelso, concerning the church of Campsie in the presence of Sir William del Bois, chamberlain of the king, Sir Hugh de Mortimer, dean of Glasgow, sir Robert and sir Thomas, canons of Glasgow, and many other great men from the king's court. The said abbot and convent quitclaimed to the bishop and the church of Glasgow all right they had in the church of Campsie, so that whoever should hold the church of Campsie from the gift of the said bishop or his successors, should yearly pay the house of Kelso ten merks of silver as a simple benefice, half at Pentecost and half at Martinmass.
