- Description
- An agreement between (i) Prior Henry and the convent of St Andrews, and (ii) Bishop Andrew and the chapter of Moray, and Lady Muriel of Rothes and the Hospital of St Nicholas next to the Bridge of Spey, concerning the church of Rothes (MOR). Prior Henry and the convent of St Andrews, with the consent of William, bishop of St Andrews, have granted and quitclaimed to the aforesaid Hospital in perpetuity all right which they were said to have in the church of Rothes and its pertinents. Andrew, bishop of Moray, with the consent of his chapter and of the aforesaid Lady of Rothes and aforesaid Hospital, has given and granted three marks annually, paid in perpetuity from the aforesaid church of Rothes as a simple benefice, to the prior and convent of St Andrews, by the hand of whoever is rector of the aforesaid Hospital, at the said Hospital, namely 20s at Martinmas and 20s at Pentecost.
