- Description
- Agreement between (i) Andrew, bishop of Moray, and (ii) Walter of Moray, son of the late Sir Hugh of Moray, over the use of the wood and moor of Spynie and Findrassie (MOR), which Walter said his ancestors had held of old, and claimed was granted to his father by Brice, late bishop of Moray, and made firm by his charter, rendering as a recognition each year half a stone of wax. By the will and consent of the chapter of the church of Moray, it was agreed that Walter would have in perpetuity the use of the aforesaid wood and moor in return for which Walter would pay to the bishops of Moray each year one mark sterling as a recognition at Pentecost in return for every service and demand pertaining to the said bishops.
