King Henry III inspects a charter sealed by the seals of Alexander, son of the king of Scotland, Earl Gilbert of Strathearn, Earl Malcolm of Fife and William del Bois, chancellor, concerning the agreement between Maurice/Muredach, earl of Menteith, and his younger brother, also Maurice/Muredach, over the earldom of Menteith, dated 6 Dec. 1213 at Edinburgh, quoted in full herein.
