Document 3/77/1 (C.A. Chrs., no. 57)
- Description
- Roger son of Baudric has given [granted and established by this his charter] to Coupar Angus Abbey, one oxgang of land in Carse (of Gowrie, PER), namely, that one which is on the south side of the grange, in perpetual alms, with all liberties and easements, free from all aid and custom and secular demand, saving the forinsec service of the lord king, and saving the service which Sir G[ilbert] de la Haye owes. Because Sir William de la Haye holds the same oxgang of land from him at ferme from Martinmas, 1252, for the term of five years, he has in the meantime given them another oxgang that lies nearer the mill of Sir Gilbert on the east side.
