Description
Robert of Kent has given at feuferme in perpetuity and has established by this his charter to Kelso Abbey, his land, wood and pasture which belongs to him and his heirs, namely, two parts of Innerwick (ELO), by stated bounds which include the land of the monks of Kelso, free and quit from all service, from ‘inware’ and ‘utware’ and from other aids, customs and exactions, for an annual render in perpetuity of one merk at the feast of St James, with specified freedoms and restrictions.
