Description
Robert, son of Warnebald, and Richenda, daughter of Humphrey of Berkeley, his spouse, in their great need, have given, granted and established to Arbroath Abbey, all their lands that they had in the parish of Fordoun (KCD), for the provision of an allowance, as in their charter. Because they were not able to warrant these lands to them, in order to make good on this defect, they have given, granted and by this their charter established to Arbroath Abbey in free and perpetual alms, their Mill of Conveth (KCD), with all the multure of the parish of Conveth (Laurencekirk, KCD), in free, pure and perpetual alms, as freely and quietly as the late king of Scots, William, gave that mill to her father Humphrey and by his charter established.
