Description
John Comyn son of the late Sir John Comyn, for the soul of his late father and others, has given, granted and by this his present charter established in perpetuity, to Inchaffray Abbey in pure and perpetual alms, the right of free transit with animals, carriages and other goods, by the public road that leads from the monastery through the black ford, called in Gaelic ‘Athebethy’ in his wood of ‘Rosmadirdyne’ (PER) as far as the town of Perth, and of constructing a bridge on his land.
