Description
William of Conisbrough, son of William of Conisbrough, has given, granted, and established by this his present charter, to John Fraser with Alicia his daughter in free matrimony, all the land of ‘Rig’ (DMF?), that he held from Roger Avenel, by its right bounds by which he held it from Roger Avenel, in feu and heritage, for an annual render for all services, aids, customs and demands, one sore hawk on the feast of St James, or 12d.
