Description
William of Gullane, with his two brothers, Nicholas and John, and his aunt, Emma, has in the full court of the prior of Coldingham abjured and renounced his right in the villa of Great Lumsdaine. And the charter of King David, which he, William, had in respect of the same villa, has resigned in the hand of the lord prior of Durham, to with, for one ploughgate of land to him and his heirs in the territory of Swinton, as contained in the charter of the said prior and convent of Durham granted to him thereupon in return for the abjuration of aforesaid villa.
