Description
Fallethauh has given, granted and by his present charter established to Sir Hugh of Abernethy all right and claim that he has or might have had in the land of Drumcarro (FIF), with all its pertinents, in feu and heritage, in perpetuity, making the forinsec service of the lord king. He has provided the following pledges: Falethauch, his firstborn son and Michael MacAlanh. He also wills and grants that if he or his heirs act contrary to this gift or grant, that they will be obligated to Sir Hugh or his heirs or assignees, for £100. He has sworn in the hands of Sir Thomas, abbot of Lindores, and has subjected himself and his heirs to the jurisdiction of the lord bishop of St Andrews and his official, on pain of excommunication.
