Description
Ness of London has given, granted and by this his charter established to Alan his relative (consanguineo meo) for his homage and service, half of the villa of Smeaton (ELO) with its right bounds and all easements pertaining to that villa, in feu and heritage, for all service, custom, exaction and demand, making the forinsec service pertaining to the land to Ness and his heirs, rendering annually one pound of pepper on the feast of St Michael.
