Description
John junior, lord of Wilton, has granted and by this his present charter established to Sir Walter, the bishop, and the church of Glasgow, in perpetuity, five marks annually at the fairs of St James of Roxburgh, in the name of the procuration of the church of Wilton (ROX), following the provision of Master Laurence, archdeacon of St Andrews and Sir William del Bois, archdeacon of Lothian, and Sir Ralph, dean of Lothian, then papal judges-delegate, who had examined the right of patronage of the church of Wilton, over which their was a dispute between John and the bishop.
