Description
Patrick son of Elias of Dunning of Renton has quitclaimed to the house of Coldingham in perpetuity the homage and service that Henry his brother and his heirs owe to him for a toft and croft of one acre in the villa of Renton (BWK), and two acres in the plain of the villa of Renton, and one acre on the west side of 'Cromstaniside', and a large acre above 'Aletone', with all escheats, etc. The said Henry and his heirs shall give 6d. every year as ferme to Coldingham Priory at Easter; and they shall give 12d. for merchet , 12d. for heriot, 12d. for forfeit.
