Description
Alexander of Stirling, for the soul of the late Ermengarde, daughter of his lord king Alexander, has given, granted and by this his charter established to Arbroath Abbey in pure and perpetual alms, a half stone of wax every year at the fair of Montrose for the lighting of that church, by the hand of his grieve, who shall be at the villa of Lauriston (KCD), which his lord, Walter Comyn, earl of Menteith, gave him.
