Norman Darcy, keeper of the castle of Stirling, has received ten marks of good, legal sterling, from the abbot and convent of Newbattle, for five chalders of barley from the ferme of Bothkennar (STL) in the year of grace 1290, concerning which five chalders he acquits the abbot and convent against all.
