Description
King Edward writes to John Soulis, constable of Berwick castle, with the common assent of William, bishop of St Andrews, Robert, bishop of Glasgow, John Comyn [of Badenoch], and James, steward of Scotland, guardians of the kingdom of Scotland, and nine named claimants to the throne, commanding him to deliver the castle of Berwick to Walter Beauchamp his steward.
