Description
Charter of King Robert I to Lord Alexander Seton knight that part of the barony of Tranent (ELO) with pertinents in the constabulary of Haddington which belonged to the late William de Ferrers knight, with the whole tenement of the land of Falside (ELO) and with the annual render of the same land owed to the late Alan de la Suche knight within the barony of Tranent (ELO), and the whole lordship (dominium) of the land of Myles (ELO) which was formerly held in chief of the earl of Buchan, performing for the king for the aforesaid part of the barony of Tranent one archer in his army and one suit of his court of Haddington at the chief pleas after the feast of St Michael the Archangel, and for the lordship of Myles, the customary service.
