Depiction of a cross-section of the cathedral church, with a spire in the centre terminating in a *cross fleury* and a plain cross at each end of the roof. Above the church roof is an eight-pointed star and a crescent enclosing what appears to be a *roundel*. The church building has three pointed arches: the middle contains an altar with a chalice and a dexter hand from above, blessing it; the dexter contains a priest with hands raised in adoration; the sinister has a priest reading at a lectern. Below and at each side scroll ornaments.

A half-length image of Saint Kentigern (Saint Mungo) under a canopy, with a mitre, his right hand raised in benediction and his left holding a crozier. Under a triple canopy beneath are three figures kneeling to dexter with uplifted hands. At the sides is the inscription SANCTVS KENTEGMVS (“Saint Kentigern”).
