Robert fitz Roger (early 13C)

Biography: Robert was the son of Roger fitz Richard of Warkworth (grandson of Eustace fitz John). He married Margaret, daughter of William de Chesney, lord of Horsford and widow of Hugh de Cressy. His son, John fitz Robert (d.1240) married Ada de Balliol, daughter of Hugh de Balliol of Barnard Castle. (Hedley, Northumberland Families, 161)
