Description
Robert, king of Scots, to his chamberlain of Scotland Alexander Fraser and his sheriff and baillies of Kinross, noting that he has recently granted a hostelage in the vill of Kinross to the abbot and convent of Melrose free from any payment to the king. He understands that the said hostelage is compelled to pay the chamberlain an annual render of 40d., and he commands him to cease levying that annual ferme.
