Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Adam Barber for his homage and service, all the following lands: in the sheriffdom of Stirling, the lands of Old Park and New Park, land of Coxet by Kirkton together with the whole land of 'Kepnemade' (STL), as Adam first had by the king's donation and which he resigned by staff and baton in the presence of the nobles of the kingdom at Cardross on 18 April, AD 1327; having and holding by Adam and the heirs legitimately procreated of his body in feu and heritage, for the service of one archer in the king's army and three suits at his sheriffdom court of Stirling at the three chief pleas.
