- Description
- Robert, king of Scots, has given his beloved nephew Thomas Randolph, earl of Moray and lord of Man, for his homage and service to him and his kingdom, the whole land of Annandale (DMF); holding by him and his legitimate male heirs of the body, in feu and heritage, with homages and services of freeholders, advowsons of churches, patronage of abbeys, feus and forfeitures, whether from war or peace, with bondsmen and bondages, neyfs and their offspring. He also grants that he may hold this land in free regality, with the four pleas of the crown; for the service of ten knights in his army.
