Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful Alexander of Recklington, all of that tenement in the burgh of Edinburgh on the street of the canons (Canongate?), between the land called 'Binnysland' on the east and the land of Laurence of Renton on the west, which came to the king due to the bastardy of Adam of Leche (Leith?); holding by Alexander and his heirs or assigns in feu and heritage, for service owed and wont.
