Description
David, king of Scots, has given his beloved and faithful William Boyd his land of Auchmarre in the sheriffdom of Dumbarton (later STL), which belonged to Duncan of Luss, and which touches the king due to his forfeiture; holding by William and the legitimate heirs of his body, and the other chief lords of the feu, if there be any, in feu and heritage, as freely as Duncan held it, for service owed and wont.
