Description
Jocelin, bishop of Glasgow, for Holm Cultram Abbey; he has granted, at the request of Roland, son of Uhtred, a saltpan in Southerness (KCB) and a fishery between 'Polben' and Southwick (KCB), an acre of land for the construction of their buildings, common pasture for twelve cows with their calves and one bull and four oxen and two horses and all the easements and necessities in Roland's wood for the maintenance of the saltpan and the fishery.
