Description
Robert, bishop of Dunkeld, and William, bishop of Brechin attest following: 1) a charter by David I to churches of Haddington and St Andrews of lands of Clerkington (ELO), a toft in Haddington, and teinds of East Lothian (Chrs David I, no. 87; H1/4/39), 2) a charter by Richard, bishop of St Andrews granting to church of St Andrews church of Haddington with lands of Clerkington (SEA, i, no. 186; H2/10/93), and 3) confirmation by William I of charter (2) above (RRS, ii, no. 173; H1/6/151).
