Ralph, dean of Lothian, and Robert of Methven, chaplain, deputy of Master Alexander de St Martin, make known that with the authority of Bishop William of St Andrews, they have assessed the vicarages of the church of Linlithgow to the value of 30 marks, and certain things assigned thus, the vicars, who will serve the said church, shall have all the oblations, obventions and all lesser teinds and houses next to the church, saving to the prior and convent of St Andrews all the lands outside and within the burgh, the teinds of grain, wool, lambs, mills, pensions, chapels and livestock with all bequeathed death dues conceded and confirmed by the said bishop to them for their own uses.
