Document 2/2/5 (Pais. Reg., 130)

Description
Alan, bishop of Argyll, makes known that Malcolm, persona of church of St Queran in Kintyre (Kilkerran, ARG), which Sir Angus, son of Donald, patron of church, bestowed upon monastery of Paisley, by consent and wish of said nobleman, has bound himself to pay annually to said monastery from church a pension of one stone of iron, which he may pay on account of what was settled before judges-delegate, after which he took a corporeal oath to pay this annual pension yearly. The bishop, because Malcolm had previously not paid pension as promised, has directed following to be ordained: that said Malcolm shall pay to monastery of Paisley from said church one pound of wax or 6d. at Paisley within fair of Glasgow.
