Description
William, bishop of Glasgow, makes known that Walter, prior of Paisley, came into his presence seeking reconciliation with abbey of Cluny. He agreed that Paisley was subject to Cluny. At a vacancy, an abbot should be chosen from the community or the Order; he should promise obedience to the abbot of Cluny and every seven years visit Cluny, and be subject to visitation by abbot of Cluny
