King Alexander II to John de Vaux, sheriff of Edinburgh, Gilbert Fraser, sheriff of Traquair, N. de Heriz, forester, and W. of Penicuik; command to go in person to Leithen (in Innerleithen (?), PEB) on Thursday 29 August with responsible men of neighbourhood to cause an extent to be made on same day, by their sworn attestation, of pasture of Leithen Hopes.
