Description
Adam, lord of Kilconquhar, earl of Carrick, for North Berwick Priory; he has approved all the grants and gifts made by the late Duncan (II), earl of Fife, in respect of the advowson of the church of Kilconquhar (FIF), before or after his predecessors’ or his own infeftment of the land and site of the monastery of North Berwick; he supplies all defects contained in the aforesaid grants and gifts that it is possible for him to make good. And he grants and donates to the Priory all of the right he has in the advowson of the church of Kilconquhar, to possess in free, pure and perpetual alms; and he renounces and quitclaims for ever every right appropriate to him, by reason of the demesne land of Kilconquhar, in the advowson of that church, as well as every suit that has been or could be brought in respect of this matter before any secular or ecclesiastical judges.
