Description
G[ilbert], earl of Strathearn, has granted and made firm by this his charter to St John the Apostle and Evangelist at Inchaffray and the canons there the donation that Tristram gave them, that is, one croft in his territory of ‘Edardoennech’, which is near the millpond of Gorthy (PER) towards the east, as free and quit as Tristram’s charter bears witness.
