Description
G[ilbert], earl of Strathearn, has given and granted, and established by his charter, to Inchaffray Priory, a site on the River Earn (PER) to construct a mill, wherever they prefer, to the east of the mill which at the time this charter was composed was at ‘Dunfallin’ (PER), on condition that the priory’s men assist his own men in building a stank for both mills and that they do not receive anything from his own territory at their mill without his licence. He ratifies this gift in pure and perpetual alms.
